For psychological terror, the buried alive scenario is the worst. For suffering, the elevator death was horrendous. For pain, it's hard to beat being boiled alive in molten chocolate.

For comical terror, the guy who got beheaded by being kicked at a full force deserves a special mention.

@projectalyce I also believe there's more than just death, and of it isn't, well, it has already happened to tens of billions of people. There's probably a cycle that each one of us is going to experience. Even though I am not a believer of any gods, I try to be a good person, help others, have good principles and morals. I only believe in myself and my mental capacities and I'm enjoying it. I have no problems with what you believe in as long as it doesn't divide people, promote extremism or have someone who benefits greatly from it.

First one is misleading because Brad Byers (The world record holding sword swallower) is still alive and in fact has spoken out in an interview about how fatal it would be to swallow an umbrella.

The most horrifying has to be Hisashi Ouchi's death, he was exposed to lethal levels of gamma radiation then was kept alive against his own will for 83 days..

What's even worse is that he was still revived over and over after death from several cardiac arrests. He even said that he's not a guinea pig, but his family refused to let him go when his whole body was literally destroyed. His whole skin melted off of his body causing him to lose so much fluids, and he suffered multiple organ failures aswell. Paralyzed, the only reaction from him at this point was his eyeballs jerking from so much pain. Poor guy. May he rest in peace.

Worst I've ever seen was a video on best gore. A man in South America was getting butchered by the cartel allegedly for "stealing". He was being 'quartered' so in other words they cut off his arms and legs. He went into shock from the first limb and was not moving for several minutes throughout the whole process. Until, they started disembowling him. His stomach was cut open so that his intestines would erupt out of his body. Which they did. He was also moving and reacting which meant he was not only still alive and conscious, but also aware. He clearly died within a minute of this but he felt everything. I've never watched a video like this and cried. Im really desensitized to brutality but this hit different. It turned me away from shock videos.

@jadedtoday: If watching a random gore video on Best gore made you cry, I would suggest you to never visit any shock sites with similar videos. Such videos are only for exceptionally brave hearted people, or for law enforcement agencies doing their investigation, or for psychos.

In my experience I never found it good for my soul to take in such gore and horrific thoughts. I know it doesn't mean it never happened but you use the horror of that situation to make sure you avoid the hell out of ever being in these situations to avoid a similar fate.

5:18 is probably my worst nightmare on a daily basis, although not going up, by rather dropping as you step on the elevator. I mean going up you have to figure that most motors will stop after a point, but in a freefall, they rely on the up-stops in the elevator shaft, and we'lve heard a lot more stories about elevators falling then malfunctioning and going up like shown. 6:55 I believe the family tried to sue the park and people were saying that the park was negligent and should be held accountable. But the court(s) found that the park had the necessary "safety" restrictions in place (fences) and that the person entered an area that was off limits knowingly and so the family lost the suit. 8:17 People don't realize that the train cars like that (that run on electrical) are designed in a way that an arc between the wires above and the cars is so great that it really can't happen and some may even have the same thing as "lightening rods" to help mitigate this. The girl simply completed the circuit even though she didn't touch the wire. She was close enough for it to arc. For the lady who was buried alive, there have been stories of even children almost being buried alive. There was a story about one little girl (an indian girl I believe) who woke up at her funeral, because the family thought she had passed away. For the last one (Aloha Airlines) keep in mind that the flight attendant was not restrained and I believe all of the passengers where in the seats so that's partially why she flew out but nobody else did (the passengers may have also still had their seatbelts on).

Anyone else remember 1000 ways to die a few of these death where shown on the show, but if I had two choices I would say that being buried alive would scare me the most, love your video's and can't wait to see what's next.

In my teenage years I remember a lads magazine called FHM had an article on ridiculous or unlucky deaths. There was a forest fire and a fire plane picked up an unfortunate scuba diver and dumped him on the fire.

Being sheared in half by an elevator has to be the worst! He survived for over 30 mins, the pain he must of been in must of been agonizing. 😖

I went to highschool with a guy who married my friends sister and moved to AR where they married and divorced. She moved back home but he had landed a good job down there so he stayed. One day his colleagues couldn't find him. They figured "oh well I guess he packed up and left early" but his car was still in the parking lot. It wasn't until pieces of his clothing was carried down the conveyer belt that his colleagues knew something wasn't right. They searched and found the unfortunate. He was filling a grinder with feed when he somehow fell in and you can just imagine the horror. I think about that story a lot... he was a good guy and no one deserves to go like that. I can't even begin to fathom only discovering the incident... I don't even want to think about what he went through during those last moments. I won't say dude's name on here but there's a news article about it. Happen at Powell Feed Mil in Siloam Springs, AR.

Our own medieval torturing devices are among the most horrible ways a person can die because they emphasize survivability & pain at its peak.

On oil rigs at sea there are all kinds of electrical, gas, and water pipes that are located under the giant metal decks so they are out of the way. The next level down is 50 or 60 feet below. So in order to fix or do maintenance on them, there are gigantic cranes that lower a cable thru holes 🕳 in the deck floor that are about 12 inches across, down to the deck below it, and a maintenance worker straps on a harness and they relay to the crane operator to slowly lift the worker the 50 or 60 feet until he's right below the underside of the floor of the level above him. He hangs there below the floor and does repairs. Once done, the signal was given to lower him, but the crane operator forgot to reverse the direction of the cable. He thought he was lowering the worker back down which takes a few minutes so he walked away from the window to get a drink and didn't see the men below desperately trying to get his attention to get him to stop the lift. Even their shouts went unheard because of the noisy work environment. Finally a panicked worker ran to a phone and called up to the crane. But it was too late. The worker who had this harness around his waist and hips was pulled pelvis first into a 12 inch hole 🕳 in the ceiling above and was slowly and torturously folded in half backwards. The crane operator turned off the crane before he could be pulled thru or most likely cut in two by the harness. He had so many broken bones. Pelvis, spine, legs, ribs... He died from his extreme injuries. I gotta say, this would rank up there with worst ways to go.

There's a video I saw where a man and his wife were performing an act on stage where he would use a chainsaw to " cut " his wife's head off. She was lying in a box with her hands sticking out. He started the saw and went to cut and she was waving her hands to let him know something was wrong. He didn't see and cut half way through and knew something was wrong when he and the audience were sprayed with blood....
