Anyways, the situation that this other guy talked about is not the only one. There were several similar incidents. One example that I know of happened during the Cuban missile crisis. A Soviet submarine was being tracked by an American carrier group. The officers onboard the sub were deciding whether to attack the carrier group using a nuclear torpedo. There were three different people onboard who needed to agree on using nuclear weapons, and two of them wanted to do it, however the third guy did not agree and he did not allow them to launch the torpedo with the nuclear warhead.

IDK much about the topic, but was still able to notice these glaring problem, they should have been able to know theses facts if they did any recearch.

If it is a superpower, like the US or Russia or China, then there are lots of protocols in place to ensure that no nuclear confrontation starts by mistake. Actually in the whole of our dealings with them since 1947, the overall impression has been that their technology is pretty poor. It seems to be based on knowledge of specific arcane subjects unbeknownst to us (ie, ‘super elements’) rather than technological advancement. i was there visiting when i got the alert. my phone started super vibrating and with strange tone, i was skeptical when i read the message and i turned on the tv and saw that CNN was broadcasting something boring, no soldering images from Guam or something that i expected....so i grabbed a quick drink and went back to bed. never heard any alarms or sirens even though one was present across the street from the condo i had rented. i did hear a fair number of footsteps ouside my unit so it was obvious some people were going somewhere.

Money for all of that went missing because Russia loves their corruption. This should bring up speculation about their nuclear capabilities. They let their tanks rust prior to Ukraine, so is there any reason to expect that their nuclear capabilities haven't been updated or maintained for decades since the cold war?
