I think the most fascinating theory is that we are aliens ourselves and once had colonized Mars when it could support life but had to leave for Earth when it lost its atmosphere millions and millions of years ago. Only instead of being able to build up our civilization again we became primitive because of the lack of manpower and the problem of not being able to mine, or collect the resources we needed. Probably far fetched, but that's what makes theories and stories fun. Even if they aren't true

I actually believed in this theory for a long time. I also had a theory we were so advanced and had mechas as weapons and the face was someones head of a mecha left over from a war. And we even have roads on Mars too so it's a very valid theory.

I believe that most people who challenges the idea of a shape on a planet or body in space love the idea of it being some alien artifact or structure, but know deep inside that it's an naturally occurring formation. I mean for a sample even if there are square like features on Venus we need to study the volcanic activity to find out if lava flows and eruptions are the cause or not as well as wind and other environmental activities.

We've evolved to see faces and people in literally everything, so most of these can be attributed to our brains trying to find a human feature in piles of rocks and shadows

Drop a big rock into it, it liquifies rock, turns it to lava, the splash solidifies instantly due to lack of atmosphere. Makes sense to me

Ok, the Death star moon orbiting Saturn. Was hit by a large asteroid or comet, that made the dish structure in the center Is a rebound peak. The impact created a large pool of molten rock. The rebound peak is so tall due to low gravity. The other moon that looks layered and like a bunch of chunks instead of round and smooth. This is due to collision with another small moon. After the impact some of the debris was lost so that when the rest came back together there was less mass so less gravity. The way I see it there are a few theories that can work here. Humanity was once incredibly advanced several thousand or millions of years ago, a collapse happened and we lost everything including our colonies in the solar system. Or humanity was still as advanced, we colonised several star systems but another collapse happened and those colonies were destroyed and everyone died. Because why would see things that we not only recognise but also look incredibly similar to stuff we have now or have in the history records. The only way to know for sure is to send people up there to check it out properly and hope if these are indeed artefacts or creatures, they don’t get censored and hidden from the public

Humans are so eager to find life outside of our planet that their imaginations tend to get the better of them. I too would like to find life but we are not going to find it on the surface of most planets. The toxic and corrosive atmospheres on these planets would have erased any traces of life or ancient civilizations on the surface after millions or billions of years of erosion. We would have to dig really deep in any hopes of finding past life.

Pretty much all this I'm willing to take the scientist at their word, but I do think our main focus needs to be Venus, there's a reason it's called our sister planet. It's literally EXACTLY what Earth will look like at the end of its "habitable" life. It's very possible that at one point Venus was closer to where Earth is now and was more than habitable. It's even possible life on Earth originated from there. But we're running out of time.
